In handguns chambering cartridges in 22 caliber and the 53 grain #1400 MatchKing bullets often deliver superior accuracy in target competition. Although they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy and MatchKing bullets are not recommended for hunting. Widely favored for their extreme accuracy and these bullets have been used for short-range varminting. Having heavier jackets and they will not provide the explosive expansion of the lightly jacketed Hornet or Blitz bullets at equivalent velocities in small varmints.
