TAC powder is an excellent choice for 5.56 mm .223 and 7.62 mm .308 rifle calibers. A six shot group was 7/8 at 100 yards on a windy day with a Colt AR-15 HBAR shot quickly off a bench. The bullets were Sierra #1370 SMP 63 grain with 25.0 grains of TAC at 3122 fps velocity. TAC produces higher velocities at less pressure. The powder is easy flowing for accurate dispensing from a powder feeder without the need to trickle for accurate scale readings. Search the manufacturers reloading data or handbooks for confirmation before you reload.
