Taylor/Uberti 1860 Army- Antique- Rebated Cylinder .44 8" Barrel
The 1860 Army around a lightweight frame, but chambered for the more powerful .44 caliber ball. The first models featured fluted cylinders, while later models incorporated a belted cylinder for added strength and a “creeping” loading lever for easier loading. The sleek 1860 Army is considered to be the ultimate combat handgun of the percussion era.
Taylor's imported Uberti manufactured version of the Colt 1860 Army. A great Cowboy Action black powder percussion revolver, no doubt the favorite side arm used during the war between the States because of the increased fire power of the big .44. The 1860 was issued to Federal Troops and purchased or otherwise acquired by Confederates. Many original C.C. photos show southern troopers armed with a brace of 60s. All Cimarron percussion revolvers come with authentic finishes. With Cimarron's Original finish the replica can not be distinguished from the 150 year old original without close examination. Specs- Caliber: .44, Barrel Length: 8", Weight: 2.66 lbs, one piece walnut grips, antique finish. Cut for butt stock.
